I thought that I would spend the next few weeks looking at the flies that we use on the Bristol Reservoirs through the first few weeks of the season. I will go into the details of tying techniques while I am at it. Of course I will not claim that this is in any way a definitive list, obviously all fishermen have their own variations, but most of the flies that I will look at are available commercially.
