Although this article is in the game section of this magazine it includes pike fishing as well as trout fishing because , on Lough Mask, pike can be caught by all the game fishing methods i.e. fly , trolling and bait (worm or dead bait). The techniques are well covered by Mark Ackerley (Dead baiting) and Mark Anderson ( Pike on the Fly) but for a really exiting days fishing why not combine game and pike fishing?
