The River MoyThis is one of Ireland’s premier salmon fisheries and is, undoubtedly, Ireland’s most prolific salmon river. Three seasons ago, the Moy produced 12,035 salmon to rod and line and the annual catch reported over the last ten years has been 7,660 salmon per year. The Pontoon Bridge Hotel has a great team of ghillies (guides) who can bring you fishing on any of the 15 separate fisheries spanning the 35 miles plus of salmon-rich waters. You can choose to fish some of the best private beats on the Moy (limited number of rods) or try the association waters which allows you great flexibility during your fishing trip. Lough Conn & Cullin

These twin lakes are two of Ireland’s top wild brown trout lough fisheries with areas of 14,000 and 2,000 respectively. Both lakes are noted by fly fishers for their free-rising trout and are favourite venues for anglers from all over the world. The Venue

The Pontoon Bridge Hotel has had a tradition in fishing since 1890 and is regarded as one of the finest fishing establishments in Europe. Its location (literally) on the shores of Lough Conn and Cullin makes it an ‘Angler’s Paradise’ and the famous River Moy is only 5-10 minutes drive by car from the hotel. All 40 Grade A *** hotel bedrooms are en suite with TV, tea making facilities and dd. telephone with many of the rooms having stunning views of the lakes.
